The Utah State University Math Department has implemented a new eligibility requirement for all student, including concurrent enrollment students, to participate in the USU Stat 1040, Math 1050 and Math 1060 courses. Beginning this Summer 2008 semester in order for students to be eligible for the Stat 1040, Math 1050/1060 courses CE students will have to meet one of the three requirements listed below:
1. Math ACT score of 23 or higher
2. Accuplacer College Level Math (CLM) exam score. See attached.
3. C- or better in Math 1010.
The Accuplacer exam may be administrated at individual high schools. High school CE coordinators need to visit the website below and the Math Department to setup the Accuplacer exam at their school.

In order for USU Uintah Basin to register students in the future for Stat 1040, Math 1050/1060 a copy of the students ACT scores or Accuplacer exam scores will need to be attached to the students registration card.
