
Math Placement Test
The math placement exam was created to provide students with advice and placement into courses at an appropriate level.
- There are 2 types of exams available:
- (EA) Elementary Math for placement into Math 0900 and Math 1010
- (CLM) College Algebra for Math 1010 up to Calculus
- Students will need to take the Math Placement Exam:
- If there has been more than one year from your last passed Math class
- If a student has less than 23 as a math ACT score (or the equivalent).
- Cost is $10, to be paid at the Registration Desk in Roosevelt or Vernal.
- Exams must be taken in the Testing Center—students must show receipt to Testing Center staff.
- Exams may be taken as many times as needed
- Exam scores are good for 1 year.
- Anyone can take Math 0900 and will not have to take the placement exam.
- The exam is not timed and may take approximately one hour.
