ESCAPE (Language Credit Exam)

If you have obtained basic skills in a language outside of a college course, you can earn up to 16 lower division credits by taking this exam. In Vernal, the test is offered in four languages: French, German, Russian, or Spanish. If your knowledge is in another language and you would like to take the exam, please contact the Language, Philosophy, and Speech Communcation Department on the Logan Campus 435-797-1209 .

To take the exam, pay $25.00 at the Registration Desk in Vernal (only)
Take the receipt to the Testing Center
Upon completion, you will have the option to buy up to 16 credits for $100.00
Depending on the score you received on the exam, the credit and a letter grade will be posted on your USU transcript
