The USU Uintah Basin Experience
Aggies are everywhere, including Vernal and Roosevelt. No matter the distance from USU's residential campuses, USU offers degrees and programs for students at any stage in life.
Regional campus life is all about options, without being limited by location. You can take an individual course online, in the classroom, or as a blend of both. USU students typically participate in various course types throughout their time with us. USU live broadcasts courses to all of its campuses, so you can interact with your instructor live, wherever they're teaching from.
An online writing center, one-on-one online tutoring sessions, and library books mailed to your door for free are just some of the awesome services USU delivers to students across the state and the globe. USU Uintah Basin has staff readily available to help you choose the right courses, find scholarships, and succeed at what you want to do.
Student Research Opportunities
Students attending regional campuses are granted exclusive access to research and practical learning experiences. Students, working one-on-one with faculty members, publish articles in peer-reviewed scientific journals, which helps them compete for coveted spots in professional schools. Our graduates are prepared to go on to promising careers or graduate training in medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, and other disciplines or professions. USU-Uintah Basin provides several opportunities including the Small World Initiative, Uintah Basin Student Researchers, Marriage and the Family, and many more. These research opportunities often culminate in presenting at the annual Uintah Basin Research Conference. Speak with an advisor to learn more about research opportunities available in your area of study.
